About WFHS

In 2007, Higley Unified School District opened Williams Field High School in Gilbert, Arizona. Since then, the school has been recognized in The Washington Posts’ “America’s Most Challenging High Schools,” as well as the U.S. News and World Report’s “Best High Schools” list from 2015 to present day.

In athletics and activities, Black Hawks have achieved state championship titles in football, marching band and wrestling, as well as a state runner-up title in golf. Additional honors have been bestowed upon Williams Field students in the arts, career and technical education and more.

The staff and community empower students with high expectations within an inclusive atmosphere that addresses the needs of the entire student. Courses offered include more than 20 Career and Technical Education courses, and more than two dozen dual enrollment and Advanced Placement classes.

Williams Field offers 50-plus sports and clubs that fit a wide array of interests. Students are proud to be a part of the Black Hawk Family and seek to DOMINATE THEIR PATH in all aspects of their educational experience.
